This year, I was awarded the opportunity to tackle a project I've been looking forward to since 2013 - establishing marketing processes for the family business. In 2013, my mom opened Beaufort Proper, a traveling women's boutique that has since evolved into an online and brick-and-mortar operation.
In a year, we were able to photograph and streamline processes to keep up with inventory, rebuild a Shopify website from the ground up, rebrand, create a style blog, grow and utilize a segmented email marketing list, begin automated campaigns for abandoned carts, and create social media communities that provided higher levels of customer service to our followers.
